Class of 2023 Irish Potato Baking

On Tuesday, March 11 starting at 7 p.m. the Class of 2023 will hold an Irish potato baking session for all sophomores to celebrate St. Patrick’s day. Mr. Gallo, “the Candyman,” will lead the event and help walk students through the baking process. To participate, students must be a part of the Class of 2023 Google Classroom (code: W3j7t2k), and come prepared with the ingredients and recipe (as seen below). A Google Meet code will pop up on Classroom when the time comes, and the baking will begin! The Irish potato baking session is a great opportunity to stay connected with fellow classmates while we are still in the midst of COVID-19.

The ingredients are as follows: 

  • ¼ cup butter, softened
  • ½ (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 2 ½ cups flaked coconut
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
