Attention all Cherokee students, faculty, family and friends! Do you or those you know still have a newspaper subscription to the Marlton Sun? Do you know any business owners who receive daily or weekly papers? On behalf of the Cherokee Stage Crew, I would like to announce that I am hosting a Newspaper Drive. Please read the details below!
What do we want? Your newspapers!
Can they be in any condition? Yes! From brand new to torn papers, we are accepting all donations!
Why do we want them? To create paper mache sculptures for our Winter Play: The Little Mermaid!
Where should you bring them? You can drop them off at Mr. Fisicaro’s room: FF207
When should I donate? We would appreciate it if all donations could be sent in ASAP so we can begin creating our beautiful set whenever we possibly can! Donations will stop being accepted the week of November 23, so please be sure to send all newspapers in by that point!
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me (Virginia Wellborn) at [email protected].
If you wish to continue to donate any newspapers you come across to aid in the creation of any future Cherokee art projects or Theater productions, please send me an email so we can coordinate potential drop-off times & locations! This would be greatly appreciated by the Cherokee student body, so we encourage you to give your newspapers a second life— away from the recycling bin.
