It’s official. The North American leg of Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet Tour has concluded. Here’s a Short N’ Sweet recap of everything you may have missed.
Tour Information
Sabrina Carpenter left quite an impression with her sixth studio album, “Short n’ Sweet”, released on Aug. 23, 2024 with twelve tracks of pop music. The US leg of the tour began September 23, 2024 in Columbus, Ohio, and concluded on Nov. 18 in Inglewood, California.
Set
Carpenter opens her concert with her hit song, “Taste,” and takes the audience through what appears to be a giant sleepover party on stage. She sings different songs in different rooms of the house. “Sharpest Tool” and “Opposite” are sung in her bathroom, while “Bed Chem,” unironically, is sung in the bedroom.
Outfit Colors
There are a ton of things in this tour that make it unique, and one of those is Carpenter’s outfit colors. Each night, Carpenter leaves fans on edge as they wait for her to reveal the color outfit she will wear that night.
Surprise Songs
Another aspect of her show that stands out is her version of the game spin the bottle. Each night, Carpenter spins the bottle on a board with four options, with each number representing a mystery song that she and the audience will sing as karaoke.
Arrests
Carpenter also does a fun audience-participation skit before performing her song, “Juno.” Carpenter picks a person in the audience who is “under arrest for being too hot,” and dedicates the song to them that night. This little game also allowed for some celebrity appearances.
Celebrity Appearances
While Carpenter has arrested some of her friends such as Whitney Peak and Paloma Sandoval, she’s also had a lot of celebrities arrested for being too hot during her tour. Some celebrity arrests consist of Millie Bobby Brown, Margaret Qualley, Jack Antonoff, Rachel Sennott, and Marcello Hernandez. In addition to these celebrity arrests, Carpenter had her one and only guest singer, Christina Aguilera, perform in Los Angeles on night 1.
