After a dismal 1-7 record for the 2018-2019 season, many people have started to question why this team played so badly. Chiefs fans had little hope for this year’s season and very few are optimistic for this team going forward. Now a couple months later, Cherokee’s new coaching staff, with Head Coach Brian Glatz along with other new coaches and players, will be well adjusted. When the coaches and players head back onto the grid-iron, they will be more comfortable and adapted. The 2019-2020 season should be interesting to watch with the coaches and students ready to play as one.
